New Material Books is a pop-up and online bookstore based in Kansas City, MO. We curate small press books, art books, international books, handmade books, and other experimental and hard-to-find publications, as well as unique objects and gifts. We are two poets dedicated to creating a space that nurtures adventurous reading and writing. NMB also runs free poetry workshops and plans to organize readings and publish original titles in the near future.
