Every two months in 2022, Casual Animal features a local non-profit organization as part of our Local Motive program. HopeKids Kansas City provides ongoing events, activities and a powerful, unique support community for families who have a child with cancer or some other life-­threatening medical condition.These events create strong connections and build community with other families at a time when they need it most. We are currently serving over 450 local families and offer 25-30 events per month, both virtually and in-person, all at no cost to the families. These HopeDay events allow families to escape the hard moments and financial worries, create family memories, and provide hope and anticipation for the future.
