From August 1 - 15, 2025, Casual Animal Brewing Company is teaming up with local nonprofit ScrapsKC to raise funds for their Teacher Resource Center through the Classroom Kickstart donation drive. Just in time for back-to-school season, this two-week initiative supports Kansas City-area teachers by ensuring they have access to the classroom supplies they need—free of charge.
The ScrapsKC Teacher Resource Center provides sustainably sourced school supplies, classroom materials, and basic necessities to educators, helping to level the playing field in classrooms across the Kansas City metro. Support for our schools is needed now more than ever, and every dollar raised helps ScrapsKC empower our community’s teachers.
“Teachers are preparing their classrooms right now, and we want to give them a strong start,” says Briana Anderson, Director of Community Engagement at ScrapsKC. “This partnership is a great example of how local businesses can rally behind our educators in a meaningful way.”
