Book Signing & Presentation: “The River Will Be a Part of Us”

Join us for a special book signing and presentation with author and photographer Wayne Thomas at Casual Animal Brewing! Wayne and Tom will share stories and images from their unforgettable 1981 raft trip from Kansas City to New Orleans, chronicled in Wayne’s upcoming book, The River Will Be a Part of Us.

Wayne and Tom will give an engaging presentation with a slideshow featuring photographs from the trip, followed by a Q&A session where attendees can learn more about this incredible adventure.

The evening will also feature a live performance by Julie Bates and Andrew Morris of The Matchsellers, a high-stakes, rollicking American string band that formed in Germany. Julie and Andrew will perform a song they wrote about the raft trip, adding a unique experience to the night.
