Join us as we kick off the official Art Bar series at Casual Animal! Local artist instructors lead attendees through creative mediums allowing for skill development, but also free expression by the individual.
Consider Art Bar a pop-in craft night or artist tutorial experience.
Guests may stay the whole 4-hours, or muse for a bit before leaving with their creations after only a few minutes. The point is to offer a welcoming space for people looking to escape through creativity, the development of new skills, and finding community. Each class or project may incur a fee to ensure the artist instructors are reimbursed for materials and their expertise and time.

Artist Instructor Bio:
Hi! I’m Anna Calvillo, embroidery artist and teacher behind Calvillo Creations. I’ve been stitching for almost five years and teaching hand embroidery since January of 2026! I love teaching the art of embroidery, which encourages folks to slow down, work intentionally with their hands, and come away with a unique piece of art! Embroidery has helped my mental health and creativity immensely and it can do the same for you too. My embroidery workshops are beginner friendly and all materials are included. I make sure to teach the basics along with some beginner stitches in each session and we get the opportunity to create and have a great time together!
