Art Bar is a weekly art session held around the original bar at Casual Animal Brewing Company with space for at least 14 individuals to belly up to the bar, order a drink, and listen to guided instruction from an artist while exploring new mediums.

Materials will be provided by Casual Animal Brewing Co., and folks will have instruction with one of our artists on staff, or a guest artist each week. Topics will range from drawing, printmaking and painting, and how to re-constitute found objects and materials.

There are many ways that we as individuals express ourselves, and each week Art Bar will explore the vast possibilities that we all deploy to expand our visual vocabulary and have fun over a couple cold ones.

THIS EVENT IS 21+ ONLY.

Initial 8 Week Programming:

Week One (3/4/2026) - "Drumhead" - Painting on recycled drumheads, participants can either follow a provided Casual Animal stencil, or create a custom design all their own.

Week Two (3/11/2026) - "Stick With Me" - Drawings on paper with traditional Sumi Ink, using found sticks as our primary drawing tool

Week Three (3/18/2026) - "Toteally, Totes" - Customize your own personal canvas tote bag using acrylic paints, and other mixed media

Week Four (3/25/2026) - "Brick by Brick" - Create custom painted bricks using acrylic paints - what better way to commemorate this clay rich city than customizing your own personal brick???

Week Five (4/1/2026) - "No, Stick With ME" - Come and create custom magnets or stickers! There will be full sheets of both sticker paper and magnets provided - and as ideas begin to flow each participants can cut out their custom shapes and designs

Week Six (4/8/2026) - "Water We Doing?" - Liquid acrylic and watercolor on paper with mixed pens and sumi ink - we’ll have a small still life to reference in real time, so be prepared to switch seats and get to know your neighbor!

Week Seven (4/15/2026) - "Reduce, Reuse, Create" - Halloween in April! Recycling cardboard boxes to make custom Halloween decorations

Week Eight (4/22/2026) - "You CAN Draw" - Drawing aluminum cans both in their proper and crushed conditions from the brewery - multiple mediums, whatever the participant feels most comfortable with
